Here is a lot of stuff that is cross-platform stuff. Some of this is generic to all computers, some of it is stuff that started for one computer operating system that has been ported to others. (Generally, most of these started in the Linux community and was ported to Windoze.) I have also collected some generic (platform-independent) stuff and collected it here.
